Reach
I’ve found your eyes, deep inside me they’ve seen,
All the rubies and desperations I kept hidden so hard
You’re strong, diamond born and I’ll give you
Diamond death if only you’ll listen to my words.
My words that can break up your soul and you
Know they can so you block up your ears and avoid the
Music I pour out from my heart, clear voices through the night
There’s a choir on the hill singing through verse after verse of
Your life.
We’re back there, moonlight and stars dancing in your hair
Stretched down your back, a smile straight from the depths of your
Hatred, glossy and stretched over with skin.
Goosebumps on my arms and your hands full of empty strands of
Blonde hair.
Did I lose you then?
The snow swallowed you up, your fingers clawing through the night
Breaking through, ripping the air into pieces with your nails,
Chipping the varnish and
Falling through you found my
Heart there somewhere and took it up and kept it for your
Own. I could wait for you if you
Want.
