Fight

So as summer noontime rolls in
Staring out the tree tops
It's simple to feel happy
Maybe I never watched the child sun
Swing in, ancient times
But I fight for it as I fight for
Eden and autumn and over loaded poppy leaves
Bobbing in the wind
And I'm falling through waterfalls and shafts of cloudy light
I fight as though there's no better purpose or place but
Here
Battling against little nothings I find
The summer is over
Orange clouds spin out dust
Sparkling seas and I dance
With spirits on purple sunsets
Walk on water
I fight
